Carbon reduction using engineering
A study made by the UK Royal Society has indicated it is “technically possible” to use engineering projects to reduce the effects of global warming. Such projects feature technology that will reflect the sun’s rays away from the earth or remove C02 from the air and store it away in underground reservoirs.
The report points out that this may be a way out if current carbon reduction has not been sufficiently implemented but should not used as an excuse to postpone dealing with emissions now.
Still there are some novel approaches that could lead to significant engineering projects in the future. For more on the subject: read more
